Hummus

  • Mediterranean
  • Sauce/Dressing/Marinade

 

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas (16 oz)
  • 1/4 cup wet ingredient (e.g., 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, fresh green olives or cottage cheese; or 1/4 cup of mixed worchestershire sauce, hot sauce and extra lemon juice)
  • 3-5 tablespoons lemon juice (depending on taste)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin

 

Preparation: 

Combine ingredients and blend.
