Granola

  • West Coast
  • Cereals and Muffins
  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup spelt flakes
  • 2 cups bran
  • 1 1/2 cups wheat germ
  • 1 cup ground flax seed
  • 1 cup soy flour
  • 1 cup hemp seeds
  • 1 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds (can substitute sunflower seeds or coconut)
  • 1 cup choppped walnuts
  • 1 cup skim milk powder (optional)

Mix dry ingredients together

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup molasses

Mix wet ingredients together, then mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients mixture

 

Preparation: 

Spread onto baking sheets.
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2  hours or so.

After baking, add 1 cup raisins and (optionally) ginger and/or  other dried fruit.
